Carl PavanoFor the first time since 2001, the Milwaukee Brewers (34-29) will play in Cleveland when they open up a series with the Cleveland Indians (29-36) on Monday, June 15th. The game will be televised Live on ESPN at 7:05 PM EST. Usually manager Ken Macha will sit second baseman Craig Counsell and third baseman Mat Gamel against lefties in Interleague games, going with Casey McGehee at second and Bill Hall at third. "I actually feel more comfortable against lefties than righties," Gamel said. "I eliminate the changeup against lefties, because they don’t really throw it that often. I kind of eliminate that in my head, and that helps." Gamel was added to the roster in mid-May and after the injury to Rickie Weeks he stayed with the club. He is hitting .224 with two home runs and 10 RBIs. "I’m a little bit frustrated, because I’m not doing offensively what I want to," Gamel said.

The pitching matchup on Monday has Dave Bush starting for the Brewers against Cleveland’s Carl Pavano. Bush is 3-3 on the season with a 4.58 ERA. In his last start against Colorado he threw 110 pitches in only five innings. Bush is winless in his last four starts with an 0-3 record and 6.75 ERA. He’s 0-1 with a 3.00 ERA in three career starts against the Indians.

David Price RaysDavid Price makes his season debut for the Tampa Bay Rays tonight at 6:05 PM EST as he gets the start in Cleveland. Price was great last year in the AL Championship Series against Boston but upper management still believed he needed to start this season in Triple A. "He’s a unique young man, and he thrives under this kind of situation," Rays manager Joe Maddon said. "I know he definitely feels like he belongs here, and those are the kind of things you want." SBG Global reports that early MLB wagering action has the public taking the Rays on the road as a +110 underdog with a 9.5 total over -120.

Tampa Bay has had all kinds of trouble in Cleveland recently, losing their last 13 games there. That streak should end though as Tampa has the better team as they proved earlier this year when they took three of four from the Indians in Tampa Bay.

Fausto Carmona gets the start for the Indians on Monday. Carmona is 2-4 with a 5.74 ERA this season. He is 2-1 with a 5.51 ERA in his career against Tampa Bay.

The Indians come off a 4-6 road trip so they should be happy to get home.

"The bullpen’s done a good job lately," Cleveland manager Eric Wedge said. "The difference in this game (Sunday’s loss) was not getting the big hit."
