deron williamsThe Utah Jazz used to be a team that couldn’t win on the road but that has changed this NBA wagering season. The Jazz have been right around the .500 mark all season on the road and that is a major difference for this year’s team. In the past, the Jazz excelled at home and collapsed on the road. This year Utah has proven they are tough in road games. "We have more confidence on the road now," said Deron Williams. "We realize if we come and create our own energy and play with intensity on defense and get stops, then we’ll have a chance to win ballgames." The Jazz are listed as a 5.5 point NBA wagering odds favorite with a total of 202.5 at SBG Global. Watch all the sports wagering action live at 7:35pm ET on NBA-TV.

This is a key trip for the Jazz as they still have to play at Milwaukee and Oklahoma City. "We have to prove, not only to ourselves but to everyone else, that we can win on the road consistently," said Carlos Boozer. "This is a good test for our team. When the NBA wagering playoffs get here, we’ve got to win on the road. … So we’re looking forward to it."

Utah needs to start playing well from start to finish on the road. They have rallied from big deficits but that is not the way to consistently win games. "We’d rather not have to come back," said Boozer. "We’d rather be ahead the whole game, of course. But we do have a lot of resiliency. We have a lot of faith and belief in what we’re able to do. If we happen to be in that situation, we know we can come back and win the game." One thing to keep an eye on in this NBA wagering odds game is the status of Detroit’s leading scorer Rodney Stuckey who is questionable.

The Jazz are 3-0-1 ATS in their last 4 vs. the Central. The Jazz are 6-2-1 ATS in their last 9 games playing on no rest. The Jazz are 36-15-3 ATS in their last 54 games overall. The Jazz are 5-0 ATS in the last 5 meetings in Detroit. The Pistons are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 vs. the Northwest. The Pistons are 3-8-1 ATS in their last 12 home games.

The Over is 6-1 in Utah’s last 7 overall. The Over is 7-3 in Utah’s last 10 games playing on no rest. The Over is 5-2 in the Pistons last 7 home games. The Over is 4-0 in the last 4 meetings in Detroit.

Indiana Pacers vs Los Angeles Lakers NBA Wagering Odds

sexy laker girlsThe Los Angeles Lakers will look to win their 11th straight home contest on Tuesday as they host the Indiana Pacers at 10:35pm ET. Considering that the Pacers are one of the worst teams in the Eastern Conference and the Lakers are the best NBA wagering team in the Western Conference, that shouldn’t be a problem. Covering the point spread though is another matter. The Lakers are listed as a 12 point sports wagering odds favorite at SBG Global Sportsbook with a total of 208.5.

The Lakers are coming off a big win on Sunday against the Denver Nuggets even though Kobe Bryant was held in check. Kobe is averaging 27.5 points per game this NBA wagering odds season but he is only averaging 21.3 points per game in the last four. "God knows I love the triangle (offense), but I kind of had to get into a playoff mode a little bit today - just put the ball in my hands and let me make the decisions," Bryant said about the Denver game, "But I missed a lot of shots."

The Lakers routed the Pacers at Indiana back in January 118-96 as Kobe scored 29 points. The Pacers have not had much straight up success against the Lakers, particularly at Staples Center where they have never won. The Pacers are 0-13 all-time at Staples Center. The last time Indiana visited Los Angeles was just over a year ago and the Lakers just barely pulled out a victory, winning 121-119.

Indiana has not done much this season but they do have Danny Granger and he scored 30 points in the Pacers win on Saturday against the Bulls. "It feels real good to get a win," Granger said, "We’ve been struggling a little bit lately and you just have to stay positive. The NBA wagering season is closing out and we have to keep pushing ahead."

The Pacers are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 vs. the Pacific. The Lakers are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 Tuesday games. The Lakers are 0-3-1 ATS in their last 4 home games. The Pacers are 1-5 ATS in the last 6 meetings in Los Angeles. The Over is 8-3 in the Pacers last 11 vs. the Western Conference. The Over is 12-5-2 in the Pacers last 19 vs. the Pacific. The Under is 5-0 in the Lakers last 5 home games. The Under is 4-1 in the Lakers last 5 vs. the Central. The Over is 4-1 in the last 5 meetings between the two teams.

NBA Wagering Previews Cleveland vs Boston

The 2010 NBA wagering trade deadline has come and gone and while the Cleveland Cavaliers didn’t get the Phoenix Suns’ Amare Stoudemire, like they wanted, they still were able to score Antawn Jamison from the Washington Wizards and Sebastian Telfair from the L.A. Clippers. “We are very excited to have an experienced all-star player of Antawn’s caliber and character join us,” said Cavs GM Danny Ferry after making the deal. “He has the ability to add a special, unique dimension to our team with a strong inside presence and the ability to stretch teams defensively, while impacting the entire court.”

As it stands, online sportsbooks have Cleveland as the odds-on favorite at -110 to win the Eastern Conference and +225 to win the NBA wagering odds championship.

The trade was consummated on Feb. 18 and Jamison made his debut a day later and since then, the Cavaliers are 0-2 straight up and against the spread. After a game against the New Orleans Hornets on Tuesday night, the Cavs will hit the road for a two-game Atlantic division swing with games against the Boston Celtics and the Toronto Raptors.

Let’s look ahead to that road trip.

The Cavs haven’t paid off for the sports betting public in their last 10 road games, only managing a record of 2-6-2 ATS. However, Cleveland has fared well when visiting Boston, boasting an impressive 9-3-1 mark against the spread in their last 13 (although worth noting is they are only 4-9 straight up in those games, with nine-straight losses).

The games against the Celtics and Raps take place on Thursday and Friday, so it is worth looking at how the Cavs fare in these back-to-back situations. Playing the front end of a back-to-back, Cleveland has only taken four out of their last 12 against the spread in this spot. They are only 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games playing the second night of a back-to-back situation…so keep an eye on that game vs. the Raptors. You can check the NBA wagering odds.

- The Wizards didn’t make out to badly in the trade deadline either, acquiring C Zydrunas Ilgauskas and some lesser names from the Cavs and forwards Josh Howard, Drew Gooden, James Singleton and guard Quinton Ross from the Dallas Mavericks.

Washington is still a long shot to take the East at +20,000 and even more of a long shot to take the championship at +50,000 however. The Wizards host the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday and in their last nine overall games against the Grizz are 2-7 SU and 3-6 ATS with six Overs. In Washington’s last 14 home games, they have recorded 4 Overs and 10 Unders.
