Butler vs Duke Wagering Odds
Monday, 9:20 pm Eastern – CBS

Monday night’s NCAA Championship wagering game features tradition rich Duke against home town favorite Butler in what should be a fascinating game. Duke routed West Virginia, 78-57, in the late Final Four game on Saturday while Butler just got past Michigan State, 52-50, in the first game. Duke was so impressive in their victory that the oddsmakers have made them a solid favorite tonight. Duke is a 7-point wagering odds favorite with a total of 129 at SBG Global Sportsbook.

Butler didn’t really play that well on Saturday against Michigan State but was able to win thanks to their defense. "I never thought we would win if we shot 15 for 49," Butler head coach Brad Stevens said. The Bulldogs have won 25 games in a row but they will need to play better on Monday to make it 26 straight. "Words can’t explain the way everybody is feeling right now," Butler senior forward Willie Veasley said, "to be in the national championship game, when nobody gave us a chance at all."

Butler is not getting much respect in this college basketball wagering game. They have a decided home court advantage, yet they are 7-point underdogs to Duke. The Blue Devils are a three-time national champion but they have not been in the title game in nine years. "It’s definitely going to be a big story, I’m sure," Duke’s Nolan Smith said. "People calling Butler the Cinderella and, of course, Duke the big-time program. But it’s going to be a fight. You know, both teams are very good." Butler has held 12 of its last 13 opponents under 60 points, including all five in the NCAA Tournament. "I think they’re an outstanding basketball team who, because Butler hasn’t been to the Final Four, creates that Cinderella thing," Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski said. "But they’re one of the best teams in the country, or else they wouldn’t be playing in the national championship. They’ve earned it."

The Bulldogs are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 NCAA Tournament games. The Bulldogs are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 vs. the ACC. The Bulldogs are 20-6 ATS in their last 26 games as an underdog. The Blue Devils are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 NCAA Tournament games.

The Under is 4-0 in the Bulldogs last 4 overall. The Under is 12-5 in the Blue Devils last 17 overall.

butler bulldogs wageringWright State vs Butler NCAA Basketball Wagering

The Butler Bulldogs will try and help some of the bubble teams as they face Wright State on Tuesday in the Horizon League Championship. The 12th ranked Bulldogs are going to make the NCAA Tournament regardless of whether they win on Tuesday or not. If Wright State can pull off the upset though, it would take away an at-large bid from one of the bubble teams. The Raiders have their work cut out for them as Butler has won 19 straight games including both matchups against Wright State this college basketball wagering season. Butler is listed as a 7.5 -point wagering odds favorite at SBG Global with a total of 122. Watch all the sports wagering odds action live at 9pm ET on ESPN.

Wright State took out Detroit 69-50 on Saturday to reach the title game of the Horizon League while Butler beat Milwaukee 68-59 to reach the Championship. The Horizon League would love to send two teams to the NCAA Tournament but that will only happen if Wright State wins on Tuesday. The Raiders have 20 wins but they will be playing in the NIT unless they upset the Bulldogs.

Butler was not that sharp on Saturday but they still got past Milwaukee. "We weren’t as crisp as we want to be, but they had a lot to do with that," Butler coach Brad Stevens said. "I don’t know if there’s any real rhyme or reason to that, but our guys stayed the course." Butler is 1-4 in title games since 2003 and last year they were beaten by Cleveland State. This year’s Butler team does not want a repeat of what happened in the college basketball wagering title game a year ago and that makes Wright State’s job even tougher since the Bulldogs will not be overlooking them on Tuesday.

Wright State has done well in neutral site games this season as they are 7-0 ATS in their last 7 games. They also do well on Tuesday’s as they are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 Tuesday games. The Raiders are 1-4 ATS in the last 5 meetings against Butler.

Butler has gotten so much respect that they have not been covering the spread very often lately. They are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games overall. They are 1-7 ATS in their last 8 neutral site games and they are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 Tuesday games.

The Under is 4-0 in the Bulldogs last 4 overall but the Over is 4-0 in the last 4 meetings between the two teams.

kansas jayhawks cheerleadersThe Kansas Jayhawks have been the No. 1 team in college basketball wagering for a majority of the season, with the exception of a couple of weeks. As it stands, the Jayhawks are the favorites to win the NCAA basketball championship at +150 sports wagering odds at most online sportsbooks.

Kansas’ regular season is coming to an end—they only have three games left—and they are in Oklahoma State this weekend to play the Cowboys.

Let’s look at some key NCAA Basketball Wagering Trends for this weekend. The Jayhawks are polar opposites when it comes to straight up and against the spread records, going 8-0 SU in their last eight but only 1-7 ATS.

The story is the same in Kansas’ last 11 road games with records of 8-3 SU and 3-7-1 ATS. In its last 10 overall games against Oklahoma State, Kansas has won seven games straight up and the Under has cashed seven times as well.

Sport is full of clichés but Saturday’s game between the No. 8 Villanova Wildcats and the No. 4 Syracuse Orange is truly a battle that will show which team is the beast of the Big East—Syracuse and ‘Nova are 1-2 in the conference respectively.

The game will take place in Syracuse. In the Orange’s last 14 games, they are 13-1 SU and 10-4 ATS and have taken 10 Unders in that span. In Syracuse’s last 20 home games they are 18-2 straight up.

Villanova comes into the Syracuse game taking nine of its last 12 overall games SU and is 7-3 SU in its last 10 road games with eight Overs in those same 10 games.

The Orange have struggled in their last nine against Villanova however, as they are only 2-7 SU and 3-6 ATS. Furthermore, Syracuse has also struggled in the last 12 games they have hosted Villanova, going 3-9 against the spread.

The Kentucky Wildcats are currently the consensus No. 2 team in the nation and after a game against South Carolina on Thursday, prepare for a big game against the No. 17 Tennessee Volunteers on Saturday.

Kentucky has prospered on the road, going 8-1 SU and 7-2 ATS in its last nine away from home. The Wildcats have had a decided advantage over the Volunteers in their last 13 overall games, going both 10-3 SU and ATS.

The days keep counting down to Selection Sunday, March Madness and the Final Four Odds! Have a good weekend and check out all the NCAA basketball odds today.
